Saint Ignatius of Loyola

Today, July 31st, Catholic Church is celebrating the feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Ignatius is a founder of Society of Jesus.

He was born at December 24, 1491, Loyola (Azpeitia), Basque province of Guipúzcoa, Spain and died at July 31, 1556 (aged 64), Rome

He beatified at July 27, 1609 in Rome by Pope Paul V and canonized at March 12, 1622 by Pope Gregory XV

and his date of death become his feast for all over the world.

I was lucky can school at Loyola College Senior High School at Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. my senior high school is one of seven college in Java Island. All of the college have the same spirit who developed by Saint Ignatius himself. The spirit called Ignatian Spirituality.

let’s start my first article with my beloved football team, Manchester United.

I’ve liked Manchester United since 8 years old. FYI, i am currently 21 years old.

Someday, I played a football game at personal computer. I just clicked on for profile of footballer. He is Eric Cantona. I saw his picture and statistics.

How surprise i was… The statistics at that game is really wonderful. almost perfect for all categories.

and the day after that, i wanted to watch how he played at the real football match. Is he really good, just like in the game?
